3-day intensive program for qualified hairdressers and 4-day program for beginners/non-hairdressers, with extra hair fundamentals included.

Optional Pre-Training Trial Day so you can observe and assist on a real keratin client before committing to the full course, with the fee credited if you enrol.
Optional 1:1 post-training Shadow Session, where the trainer observes and guides you during your first paid keratin client for extra support.

SFH Keratin Training is a professional, in-person education program designed to teach you how to safely and confidently perform advanced keratin hair treatments using SFHAIRCARE’s original keratin formulation.
Across 3 or 4 days you’ll learn theory, safety, consultation, full application, ironing technique, aftercare and business basics so you can offer premium keratin services in your own salon or business.
Accredited Worldwide Certification
This is a proper, accredited certification – not just a participation or “achievement” certificate.
Graduates receive an SFH Keratin Certification that is recognised worldwide, allowing you to work wherever you choose as a qualified keratin specialist

No previous keratin experience is required – you just choose the stream that matches your background.
Program Options
Hairdresser Program – 3 Days
- Designed for licensed/experienced hairdressers.
- Duration: 3 full training days in Melbourne.
- Investment: $3,500 (includes kit, manual, certification and model practice).
Non-Hairdresser Program – 4 Days
- Designed for beginners or non-hairdressers.
- Duration: 4 full training days, including foundational hair education.
- Investment: $4,500 (includes extra hair basics, kit, manual, certification and model practice).
Pre-Training Trial Day
- One-day “try before you commit” option at SFHAIRCARE.
- You observe and assist on a real keratin client with Sandra, seeing the full process from consultation to finish.
- Fee: $500 – non-refundable, but credited towards your full training fee if you enrol.
Post-Training Shadow Session (Add-On)
- Optional 1:1 shadow session for certified SFHAIRCARE graduates only.
- You bring your own client into the studio on a non-working day; you perform the treatment while Sandra observes, guides and supports.
- Fee: $370 per client session.

Models & waivers
Students work on live models so you leave with real, practical experience.
Model requirements
Ideal training models should:
Have shoulder-length hair or shorter.
Not have extremely thick or extremely curly hair.
Have natural, non-bleached hair.
Be available for 3–5 hours per session depending on training progress.
Students are encouraged to bring their own models.
If you cannot source a model, SFHAIRCARE may be able to assist with finding one, but extra scheduling flexibility is required. There is no additional fee for models sourced by SFHAIRCARE.
Model waiver & consent
All models sign a Model Release & Waiver before any service begins, covering:
Understanding that this is a training environment and service time may be longer.
Acceptance that results may vary and releasing SFHAIRCARE, the trainer and student from liability.
Permission for before/after photos and videos to be used for social media, advertising and training purposes.
Basic medical disclosure including allergies and pregnancy/breastfeeding status.
